I am a freelance calligrapher using the copperplate style of pointed pen calligraphy.  As a bride to be, I studied with the New York Society of Scribes to personalize my wedding invitations.  I ended up addressing the invitations and announcements, and also wrote the table numbers and place cards by hand. 

 

I enjoyed studying and practicing calligraphy so much that I have subsequently created envelopes and place cards for other events, including place cards for dinners for top UBS executives in London and Spain.  I am continuing my work as a freelance calligrapher.
